Board of Directors:

Rhonda Meadows has been an devoted advocate for foster youth for decades. Meadows doesn’t just talk about making change, she makes change happen. She founded Bridge Meadows in 2004, an intergenerational community in North Portland with a mission of promoting permanency, community, and caring relationships for adoptive families of foster children while offering meaningful purpose in the lives of older adults. It has created a sense of peace for foster youth and purpose for all who live there.

She went on to establish Project Lemonade in 2011. This program allows Portland area foster youth the unique opportunity to shop for new and nearly new clothing at no charge to them or their foster families. This highly successful mission builds self-esteem and sets these children for success in school.

Meadows has served on several non-profit Boards including Chairperson for SEI (Self Enhancement Inc) and was Vice Chair of Programming for CASA Board of Directors. She is also a University of Oregon College of Arts and Science board member.

Rhonda has worked in the Human Resources field for over 30 years and currently owns her own HR consulting firm, HR Solutions Consulting.

Anthony Preston was born and raised in Portland, Oregon, where he was placed into the foster care system at the tender age of seven. His upbringing and early years were shaped by the foster care system, where he remained under the state’s care until he aged out at 21.

Anthony lived with multiple families, moved six times, and shared his life with nearly 100 foster brothers. His journey was far from smooth, as kids in foster care often encounter difficulties when it comes to finding a sense of belonging. Trusting others and connecting with individuals who truly believe in your potential and are willing to push you to excel can be daunting.

Anthony was fortunate enough to have a few dedicated individuals circle around him who made the effort to understand his unique circumstance and encouraged him to complete his high school education.

Anthony defied the odds and went on to pursue a college education, earning a bachelor's degree in criminal justice and is now a police officer. Today, Anthony is happily married to his wife Aleisha. and is father to his infant daughter, Amara.

Heidi Leopold Grenley learned about marketing and business through her education and growing up in her family car business. Her career took shape as she worked at several top advertising and marketing firms in the Portland area. Heidi was an account manager who oversaw creative teams, developed marketing strategies and helped to grow her clients from a local to national level. Her work encompassed business to business and consumer marketing. After working for local and national agencies, Heidi opened her own small company continuing her work with existing clients in banking, hospitality and golf.

Heidi has a passion for community service and has served on several boards including CASA and Project Lemonade. She has raised funds and chaired several auctions. Her passion is to improve the lives of foster youth through educational opportunities.

Anna Maria Ponzi is the former owner and past CEO of Ponzi Vineyards. She was one of the earliest ambassadors for Oregon wine and is recognized for building the region’s wine country into a premier travel destination. She grew the family business from a garage operation into a global brand, resulting in the successful sale of the winery to the esteemed Société Jacques Bollinger of Champagne, France. She is a published author of ‘Pinot Girl’ and the creator of her keynote: ‘The Four-Ounce Pour’ reflecting on the importance of how intentionality can create impact and make change.

Anna Maria has been involved with foster youth for over a decade serving as a CASA and Project Lemonade board member. She was an advocate and mentored an incarcerated youth throughout his sentence. She was President and continues her work with Salud! which provides year-round healthcare for vineyard workers. She is President Emeritus of the Oregon Winegrowers Association, Mentorship Chair for Women in Wine and is an Oregon Tourism Commissioner. Anna Maria is devoted to improving communities, especially underserved youth, women and farm workers.

Aleisha Preston was born and raised in Oregon. Aleisha is a first generation college graduate and is passionate about our school systems. She received a Bachelor's Degree in Early/Elementary Education. It was in the classroom setting that Aleisha saw the holes within our education system. She saw the way trauma was impacting the students around her, and she saw youth desperate for someone to stand in the gap for them. It is this experience that makes her passionate about Anthony’s Circle and advocating for foster youth. Aleisha has recently completed a Masters Degree in Clinical and Mental Health Counseling that she hopes to use to continue her work with youth. Aleisha is married to her husband Anthony, and has welcomed their new baby girl into the world.
